Winton
is a founding partner of the Vaughn, Winton & Clark law
firm. He
primarily limits his legal practice to Real Estate with a focus on
community association law
issues, representing developers, builders, condominium and homeowner
associations, and real property owners. He is admitted to all Oklahoma
courts and is a member of the bar in Oklahoma and Texas.
Education
Matthew graduated Oklahoma Christian University with a bachelors degree
in Literature. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College
of Law, earning his degree with distinction. Matthew is a trained
mediator.
Professional Memberships
Since 2000, Matthew has been a member of the American and Oklahoma Bar
Associations. Since appointed by Mayor Naifeh in 2002, Matthew has
served on the City of Edmond Development Standards Committee. Since
2006, he has been a member of the Texas Bar Association. He is an
honorary member of the Oklahoma Commercial and Residential Home
Inspectors.
Professional Accomplishments
Matthew is a frequent lecturer to attorneys and real estate
professionals on community association and private roadway issues. He
is the author of the "Oklahoma Community Association Handbook," now in
its second edition. Matthew hosts the law blog located at
www.okhoa.blogs.com, and serves as general counsel to numerous
community associations in Oklahoma. Matthew serves as a director of the
Unit Ownership Estate of 3233 East Memorial.
